What MensorAI does now

Save as you read. Ask when you write.

MensorAI started as a YouTube note-taking tool for learners. Now it saves articles, passages and YouTube moments as you go, and when you sit down to write, you ask across all of them. Every answer links back to the passage it came from.

The Challenge for Researchers

Sound familiar? Here’s what usually gets in the way.

Conference talks are dense, and the point you need is 30 minutes in
You need the exact wording before you cite something
Comparing what several talks said about one question takes hours
Your notes and the sources they came from drift apart
An AI summary without sources is no use in academic writing

Where MensorAI Fits

Here’s what it does for this kind of work today.

Keep the source with the note

Save a talk at the moment you’re at, with the captions around it when the video has them, and add your own note. The note stays separate from the source text, so you can tell what you thought from what was said.

Ask across talks and articles

Ask a question across your whole library, or type @ to compare a few sources. The answer shows which sources it used.

Check quotes before you cite them

Every claim links to the passage behind it, and for a video to the moment when the captions have timestamps. Quotes are checked against the source text.

Take the evidence into your writing tool

Keep the claims you’ll cite in a piece, grouped by the questions your paper asks. Each one keeps its source passage. Copy it into your editor with citations and links.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does MensorAI do?

It helps you write from what you read and watch. Save articles, YouTube moments and your own notes, then ask a question across all of it. Every claim in the answer links to the passage it came from, and you can keep the claims you’ll use in a piece and copy it into your editor.

Is MensorAI free?

Saving is free. Asking across your library and finding videos on YouTube need an active trial or a paid plan, and there’s a 7-day free trial of Pro features with a limited AI allowance. No credit card required. After that, plans are $9, $19 or $22 a month, and they differ only in AI requests per day.

What does it work on?

The browser extension works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc on desktop, and it opens as a popup. The web app runs in your browser and takes YouTube links. There’s no mobile app.

Does it work with every YouTube video?

Answers depend on the captions and text a source has. You can save a video without captions, but MensorAI will only have your own note to work with for it.
